Terminology used in eBrickkiln

  • Line type: In brick kiln business brick are placed inside the kiln or round in shape of line . These lines are in different shape and size so these different lines also known as Pawa type etc.
  • Kachi Bhari: The process of filling kachi bricks or tiles in the kiln or in Stock.
  • Round /Gher/chakker: Raw bricks are set up in a circular rows in a kiln. This circular path when meet on starting point is called a 0ne round or Gher.
  • Kharaba/Gaal/Wastage: The total of raw bricks or tiles that are wasted by rain or any other reason.
  • Finished Stock: Stack of baked bricks. Every stack of finished bricks has different grade of bricks. Brick kiln owners keep stack wise stock also.
  • Daily: A document filled by supervisor of brick workers to keep daily record of bricks made by brick workers.
  • Pather: A location where Patheras (Person whose make the raw bricks) molded the bricks.
  • Nikashi: Process to carry out the baked brick or tile from kiln.
  • Phukayee/Jalayee: Process to baking of bricks on daily basis.
  • Stack(Chakka or Chatha): Chatha or chakka is the place where bricks are placed after nikasi.

Sand/ Mitti

As we know Sand and Mitti / Clay are the basic requirements to make bricks.Some time mitti very close to kiln so there is no need to carry the mitti from XYZ location to kiln location.eBrickkin keep the record of carried mitti /sand easily which is the basic requirement of brick kiln owner.
